AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Singer-songwriter Noah Kahan will perform at the Moody Center in Austin next year as part of his "We'll All Be Here Forever" tour.He's slated to perform at the downtown Austin venue on June 14, 2024, the Moody Center announced in a tweet Wednesday. Advanced ticket registration is available online now through Sept. 24 at 11:59 p.m.Advanced ticket sales will begin Sept. 28 and run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., per the Moody Center.Kahan will be more than familiar with Austin come June 2024, as he's slated to tape an Austin City Limits Live performance on Sept. 25 and perform both weekends of the 2023 Austin City Limits Music Festival in October.Kahan's 2022 album "Stick Season" released to critical acclaim. A person shot and wounded a 17-year-old in St. Paul’s North End Wednesday afternoon, leading to a high school less than a mile away canceling after-school activities.The teen was taken to Regions Hospital for treatment and his injuries appeared non-life threatening as of Thursday morning, said Sgt. Mike Ernster, a police spokesman.The shooting happened in the parking lot of 444 W. Maryland Ave., which houses the Maryland Supermarket. Other violence in the area has included the March 2022 fatal shooting of Dion Ford Jr., a 2019 Central High School graduate and basketball star, during a robbery, and the 2019 murder of Marquez Perry-Banks, 21.Officers were called to Wednesday’s shooting about 3:30 p.m. The injured teen had gone to a nearby residence on Arundel Street for help. The Minnesota Supreme Court has scheduled oral arguments for Nov. 2 on a petition that seeks to bar former President Donald Trump from appearing on Minnesota ballots next year.Eight Minnesota voters, including former Secretary of State Joan Growe and former Supreme Court Justice Paul Anderson, filed suit earlier this month contending that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution prohibits Trump from holding federal office because he took part in an insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021.The amendment was adopted after the Civil War to prevent former confederates from returning to federal office, but a recent paper by two legal scholars has prompted interest in applying it to Trump. GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Gloversville man was arrested following an early morning dispute on Oakland Avenue in Gloversville Thursday. Samuel McDonald Jr., 27, faces several charges. RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo. - An ambulance was stolen from SSM St. Mary's Hospital early Thursday morning, but it has since been recovered by authorities. Police say the ambulance was possibly stolen by a psych patient just released from the hospital. The patient saw an opportunity and took off in the ambulance around 5:30 a.m. Prisoner escapes Mercy South Hospital, police investigating The ambulance did not sustain any significant damage, and it seems nothing was stolen from inside it. A would-be robber was shot while trying to steal from employees and customers of a massage parlor in Riverside Wednesday night.At about 9:45 p.m., two robbers entered a massage business in the 10400 block of Magnolia Avenue, according to Officer Ryan Railsback of the Riverside Police Department.The pair tried to rob employees and customers, but one patron opened fire, hitting one of the thieves, Railsback said. A handgun could be seen in the parking lot just outside the parlor's entrance.The two then fled, though the wounded robber was found nearby suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.The other robber is still outstanding, police said.No injuries were reported at the business.Nancy Fontan contributed to this report.Latest news
