STOCKTON – The California Highway Patrol Golden Gate Division on Monday announced the recovery of $229,000 in stolen paint.On July 31, members of the CHP’s Cargo Theft Interdiction Program found 48 pallets of Sherwin-Williams paint at a warehouse in Stockton, the CHP said in a social media post.The paint was originally stolen in Nevada and traced to Stockton, according to the CHP.The California Highway Patrol Golden Gate Division’s Cargo Theft Interdiction Program recovered $229,000 worth of stolen Sherwin-Williams paint at a warehouse in Stockton on July 31, 2023. A man died Monday from his injuries after a shooting in Northwest D.C. on Saturday that left two other men dead at the scene, according to D.C. police.Vincent Martin, 42, of Southeast D.C. was taken to an area hospital for life-threatening injuries after the 1 a.m. shooting in the 2500 block of Ontario Road NW. He was later pronounced dead after succumbing to his injuries.The other two victims were identified by police on the scene as 34-year-old James Morgan and 30-year-old Jamal Morgan, also of Southeast D.C.
