SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Following a stellar season opener, the Union College men's ice hockey team took a bit of a step back this past weekend, being swept by Colorado College. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! The Garnet Chargers dropped game one 7-3, and fell short in game two 6-2. The combined score between the first and third periods of the two games was 5-5. What sunk the Garnet Chargers was the second period in both contests, where the combined score was 8-0 in favor of Colorado. As Union prepares for its' home opener with the University of Connecticut Friday, last week's series at the very least shined a light on s...
