JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — Responders began door-to-door evacuations on Saturday evening after a fire sparked northwest of Golden.The fire was in Golden Gate Canyon near the 4200 block of Bear Road, about 3 miles up the canyon, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) -- Fire crews were working on containment and mop-up Saturday of a wildfire that burned dozens of acres in Jefferson County. The brush fire sparked off Interstate 70 near Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Friday afternoon.The fire was burning along the hogback south of I-70.
