It’s never too early to speculate about what the Vikings might look like when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Sept. 10 season opener at U.S. Bank Stadium.Though some positions won’t change regardless of what happens in the preseason, there are many players still fighting for a spot in the starting lineup.More will come into focus this week with the Vikings traveling to play the Seattle Seahawks in their first exhibition game of 2023 on Thursday night. Landfall is searching for a new city administrator, and the city’s first city administrator is leading the search.City Administrator Tobin Lay has announced that he will be leaving the city sometime this fall, said Interim City Administrator Mike Erickson, who served as Landfall’s first city administrator in 2013-2014. Prior to 2013, the 840-resident mobile home park was administered by a clerk-treasurer.Erickson, 66, of Maplewood, has been serving as interim city administrator since July, when Lay, who has been city administrator since June 2021, left on an extended family vacation, he said.The statewide search started last month, and the Landfall City Council hopes to have a new city administrator hired by this fall. ST. ANN -- A man is facing nine felony charges after a series of St. Louis County smoke shop burglaries that caused thousands of dollars in damages. The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office says Cameron Tyler, 32, stole marijuana products and paraphernalia.After Tyler was arrested, police said that he admitted to the crimes. He is being held on a $75,000 bond. Almanacs predict cold, wet winter — but can you trust them? The crimes were committed at several locations from June 10, 2023 to July 31, 2023. Tyler is accused of using rocks and hammers to break the glass doors of the businesses. He would then steal hundreds of dollars worth of marijuana and related products. A driver was taken to the hospital after their car flew into the second floor of a Pennsylvania home on Sunday, KTLA sister station WTAJ reports. On Aug. 6 at 3:15 p.m., Junction Fire Company was called to assist the Decatur Volunteer Fire Company for a report of a vehicle accident on the 800 block of Alfarata Road in Decatur Township. Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash on Nopel AvenueBUTTE COUNTY, CA (August 7, 2023) – Thursday evening, Margaret L Tinnel was hurt and a man was killed in a head-on collision on Highway 32.The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m., near Nopel Avenue.Per reports, a 74-year-old woman failed to make a turn while heading east and veered off the westbound lanes of the highway. She then crashed into another vehicle driven by an 87-year-old man from Chico.Medical personnel arrived and transported the woman from Forest Ranch to Enloe Medical Center with major injuries. Due to the extent of his injuries, crews pronounced the male driver of the other vehicle dead.At this time, Butte County officials are working to identify the reasons behind the Highway 32 head-on crash.
